Wowhead Weekly Review (July 12 - July 18)

Hey there! This is our nineteenth Wowhead Weekly Review! Apart from the two new Class Q&A series (found in the class section below), there is good news for Queggy-worshippers everyone! Queggy now officially has returned from his vacation alive! So much goodiness! DISCLAIMER: Opinions presented in the Wowhead Weekly Review are not necessarily those of Wowhead.com or its staff members. Anyway, read the wall of text after the break! News Blog - Site Update - New Zone Tab: Starts quest by TheOnyx. In this blog, he introduces a long-needed feature that shows items which start quests, in a separate tab on a Zone page! Complex filtering no longer is needed! Blog - iPhone App - WoW Armory for the iPhone: A Review by Malgayne. Looks like another app has been developed for the iPhone. But oh wait, it lets you browse the World of Warcraft Armory live! Malgayne reports that this app surprisingly beats others in speed despite the amount of graphics and scripts. Certainly an app to go for! We just wish that one specifically for the Wowhead Profiler will be released soon! *keeps fingers crossed* Blog - Expansion - Goblins and Worgen by ArgentSun. Reporting live from MMO-Champion, our ArgentSun the Ambitious tells us the things are being speculated, as Boubouille discovered mask textures being used for Halloween. Perhaps this will give us a hint on possible new races in a new expansion? Thread - US First - Premonition gets World Third by Tatortotts. So apparently the US guild Premonition of Sen'Jin scored the "Alone in the Darkness" achievement as World Third and US First. In-Game Thread - High-Level Newb Phenomenon! by DeathBlood. The thread starter has run into a player not knowing his class mechanics for more than 60 levels. Probably the fast leveling through either the Recruit-A-Friend feature or quest(ing) accommodation changes on Blizzard's behalf caused said player to breeze through the content without having the opportunity to learn his class better; even the class takes mechanical changes through the levels. DeathBlood possibly fears that through these actions, leveling will be trivialized so much that, to quote him, "Hellfire Ramparts becomes the new Deadmines". Have you ever encountered similar players? Thread - Role Play Event : Server Lightninghoof Alliance Side by Lightbrynger. By the time the WWR will be posted, the Event probably will already be over. But we nonetheless put this one up to show users how awesome it is to organize Roleplaying Events. Perhaps you might be tempted to try it? Good luck! PTR 3.2 Blog - Equip This! (PTR Build 10083) by TheOnyx. Thanks to numerous contributions of a few famous sites, WoWRaid among them, and users testing the PTR, Wowhead gets constantly updated with the latest additions, mostly items and icons! Thread - Patch 3.2 Analysis by Skyfire. Replacing the old and outdated thread concerning the Mage in 3.2, Skyfire opens up this sticky to provide everyone with a single and unified thread. Oh, if he only would have done the same on the other class forums! Suggestions Thread - Diplomacy - New idea, diplomacy server by rufusdoggy. In this thread, he posts a very interesting (and tempting) idea on factioning. He suggests a server on which it would be allowed to gain reputation among the two rivaling factions, the Alliance and the Horde. For the pacifists and others interested, as well as critics, please check in! Guides Blog - Ulduar - Strategist: Razorscale by ArgentSun. Wohooo! ArgentSun continues his Strategist series writing about the Razorscale fight. If you haven't seen the Flame Leviathan guide, don't miss reading it, too! Also, please comment if you discover something that needs to be corrected so actions can be taken. Thread - Factions - Faction Facts - Northrend Reputation Rewards Guide by ArgentSun. And we of course shall not miss Argent's other guide, the Faction Facts, which sadly missed the last week's WWR. Hence we sport it in this one and recommend it to everyone that is looking for items via reputation. Thread - Priest - PvP - Spriest 1 vs. 1 techniques and strategies. by phosphorus. This thread guides the reader through 1 versus 1 situations against different classes. Phosphorus still is looking for better strategies than the ones detailed in the thread, so help him out! Thread - Warlock - Gear - Warlock Raid Gear, Enchants and Gems by Gorefiend. He, whose post count just reached 3,000 at the time of writing this, has updated his sticky with Algalon and Ulduar along with a couple other items. Thread - PvE Glyphs - Consolidated Glyph Advice by mojojojo101. This is a guide that lists the best glyphs for each class and specialisation for PvE. It however still is in progress, so if you want to do something handy, go look and help him! Classes Blog - Druid - Q and A - Druid Q&A with Ghostcrawler by ArgentSun. ArgentSun is reporting: another installment of the "Class Q&A" series has been released, this time the Druid. The entire interview hasn't been posted because the character limit put it to an end, but you still can read them if you follow the link before the break. Blog - Warrior - Q and A - Warrior Q&A with Ghostcrawler by Malgayne. Yet another interview has been done, it looks like Blizzard is being quick! For the Warrior fellas, check out the blog or browse the World of Warcraft site for the full interview and some artwork! Thread - Death Knight - The Unofficial 3.2 Proposed Frost DPS Builds/Discussion by Eleazer. In this thread, talent builds and their junction to glyphs (or is it vice versa?) are discussed. Here are the links to the Blood and Unholy threads. Thread - Warlock - Mount - Potential Warlock Flying Mounts by Felborn. As it looks like Warlocks will be getting a flying mount, guesses about the specifics are arising. Lore and Fan-Fiction Thread - Awakening/Redemption/Sacrifice by Supremacy. Starting with his own stories, this one split up in three parts for Alliance, Horde and both, and he's getting a lot of positive feedback from his readers. Thread - The Pandaria Series by Sagramor. He continues the second chapter with a troll. YES, A TROLL. Thread - Old Gods Revealed by lovechia. This is a very interesting and mystifical but fitting idea on the Old Gods' locations. Thread - My Blizzard Writing Contest Submission by Gnubigena. He publishes his story which originally was intended for the Creative Writing Contest *cough*. Following Gnubigena's example, Mavik also publishes his story, namely Light's Intervention. Thread - Light and Death (Page 18) by MorecofRivendare. Page 18 has arrived and consists of two parts of which the first is available! Also stay tuned for #2 which will come few days later. The twentieth Weekly Review will be released the next week as usual! See ya! You, of course, are free to e-mail us whenever you think a thread could be included in the next Weekly Review! Please note we don't accept everything, but we'll take your suggestion into consideration ;)
