Honestly, there's already a lot of burstomps where I would take the new HFB over myurrent sp. One shomp being 2x Betrayer fury warrior + holy pally + rogue. Glyphed HFB is nearly the same damage as aonstant Dirty Deeds for spials, only it iludes white damage and poisons as well. And a warrior or feral drood would let you get HFB up while in stealth..
Hello friendly forum folk, I've lurked these forums for quite a long time now and dided to make my debut with a drunken rogue requestquestion. I play mut and I have sie the dirtionalhange. I have rently given up on my 80 rogue and started lvling a priest in order to re-awaken my joy for the game...but I digressutting to thehase.. I want something else for 5 points other than seal fate. The way I see it, for all intents and purposes Irit 50% of the time with mut providing 3ombo points. Whh results in at worst a wastedombo point, and at best the only way to hieve 5 points with a mut build (sans ruthless). this seems flawed to me for some reason, I would rather just not have it. Without it, its impossible to get 5 points. What I want is a reason not to take it. Right now there is nothing I would rather have to lose the points, and as stated earlier, youan't get 5 points without it. If yourit twe though, throughout your individual rotation, you waste a point only to optimize one ability, rupture (and relatively envenevis but I never desire a 5 point either). With the uoming hfbhanges rupture will be quite important. I guess the idea I have rumbling through my head would be a 5 talent point tier that involves a 6thombo point that is only available when SnD is up. I say SnD bause besides hfb, it's the only thing im reallyoerned about not letting drop. This would imo negate the negative pvp implations of having a 6thombo point. My best idea would be to have the 6th point apply to all finishers eept expose armor andheap shot. It would also imply a 6th stk of DP. The positives would be more snd time without imp sndsnd glyph, more rupture time (important with the uoming hfbhanges), and a slightly higher envenomevis dmg on trash. I know snd isnt really an issue, but the flaw in the whole rotationpriority system that mut is; is refreshing at the right times, ie you dont want to have rupturesndhfb all tking a sond from eh other, or you are destined to have one of them fail. It would allow for minmax'er to hieve greatness bc by not taking seal fate you have the ability to find yourself an optimumle, and the ability to tually get fullp's and use them at your pleasure. I find myself waiting for rup to fall so Ian get a 5 point uptime, whh meanwhile tks hfb and snd lower than I would like. This would also provide a damn good reason to have the mut glyph and provide some type of player style involvement in your build. Why keep seal fate in the tree at all then, bc its still great for pvp and you want the rng on your side to get 5 points with a lower assn dedation like standard mutprep builds. Working it in would require some talenthanges to allow one to get that high in the tree without taking seal fate. Just a random thought I had, and felt it had to be put out there edit: run-ons and whatever opinions....
