Wow, not one response in 3 days. Surely someone has to remember how they got to 70? Kernale Link to this t 20th 2008 2:57pm : Logged Reply to this tbradyholar51 Default
Honestly, swing sequee and sh don't matter too mh while leveling. You just need to always be using your most damaging attks over and over. I do think you're on the right trk with the shouts though. Debuff the mob as mu as youan than just lay into it. Link to this ing from New York t 20th 2008 6:38pm Edited: t 20th 2008 6:39pm : Logged Reply to this tabstopperSage1145 Good
To be fair, youan't use the build that I was using at that level bause Blizzard hashanged the ArmsFury trees around quite a lot. I'm assuming that this is yourharter. If so, the first thing you need to do is get up-to-date weapons.ruel Barb is great at its level, but youould find greens that do more damage at your level. DPS is ~the most important stat (see the stkies for more detailed info) -- don't keep an outdated blue when youould reple it with a better green. Personally, I've always been a big fan of a 2HAxe build at your level. I'd try to get my hands on a Whirlwind Axe, and reple it with Bonebiter oe youan run through arlet Monastery. Ravager is also a ne toy if youan get Herod to drop it though. If you want to stay with a dual-wield build, Vanquisher's Sword, Sword of Serenity, Glutton'sleaver, various other blues, and even a lot of greens would be an improvement. Without some pretty good ehants though, I'm pretty sure that you're better off going with a 2H build for a while yet and just pking up a 1H for if you want to tank something. Attk sequee is going to depend a lot on whether you go with a 2H or with 1H weapons. kernale wrote:I re-did my talents as above, and while I tried Slam, I still don't see mh benefit from it. Slam mostly benefits you when using a big 2H weapon (you get more damageompared with a faster weapon of the same DPS), and espially if youan pk up Improved Slam (now a fairly deep Arms talent). I'd personally suggest this build as a sample 2H Arms (Axe) build for leveling (note: youan take off 5 points to get to a level 37 build, and I'd personally max improved slam before Mortal Strike). Youould alsohoose to maxruelty (and I'm sure many would), but that keeps you away from Improved Slam Mortal Strike for a long time. Attk sequee would vary based on level and # of mobs. At level 37 (one mob):harge** >> Rend (x1) >> Overpower (whenever up) >> Hero Strike (if over 50 rage) At level 41 (with Improved Slam for 0.5sast time)harge >> Rend (x1) >> Overpower (whenever up) >> Slam >> White hit >> Slam >> White hit >> if you've got a ton of rage or a healer, Mortal Strike For a pk of 2-4 mobs:harge >> Berserker Stae >> Berserker Rage >> Sweeping Strikes >> Whirlwind leave (youan do both ~at oe)>> Slam I never really spent the rage on Demo Shout or Thundelap unless I was grinding as Prot. I also don't usually Exute unless it's a trky pull, mainly bause I like to have the rage to play with at the beginning of the next pull, and things drop really fast if youan get rolling with a 2H build. Probably more than you needed, and I'm sure it's not 100% the most effient strategy, but it'll speed you up a whole lot, IMO. **harge is great for building rage, but if you've got a buh of enemies around, pull with ranged.
