as to why you think seal fate is a bad2009-04-28Or youould use shivSS
I'm boggled as to why you think seal fate is a bad talent. It's one of the most tree-defining talent for rogues (HaT aside, bause you have to go armpit-deep into sub to get it). I've been playing for 2.5 years.. and this is the first gre I've ever heard about it. ONOSE I ALWAYS HAVE 4 or 5ombo points! Grab Ruthlessness, and with raid buffs you're getting a ruthlessness pr + mutilaterit for 4ombo points half the...

I'm a level 73 rogue and the thought of Hemo has always intrigued me. I'm just wondering if it's a viable sp for anything, if so what, and what a talent build for Hemo would look like. I've tried Mutilate and I'murrentlyombat Swords and I'm just looking for a bit of ahange up.

where I would take the new HFB over2009-04-28Honestly, there's already a lot of burstomps where I would take the new HFB over myurrent sp. One shomp being 2x Betrayer fury warrior + holy pally + rogue. Glyphed HFB is nearly the same damage as aonstant Dirty Deeds for spials, only it iludes white damage and poisons as well. And a warrior or feral drood would let you get HFB up while in stealth..
Hello friendly forum folk, I've lurked these forums for quite a long time now and dided to make my debut with a drunken rogue requestquestion. I play mut and I have sie the dirtionalhange. I have rently given up on my 80 rogue and started lvling a priest in order to re-awaken my joy for the game...but I digressutting to thehase.. I want something else for 5 points other than seal fate. The way I see it, for all intents and purposes Irit 50% of the time with mut providing 3ombo points. Whh results in at worst a wastedombo point, and at best the only way to hieve 5 points with a mut build (san...

possessed magical items2009-04-13A record has been set for the sale of virtual items in an online game as a World of Warcraft account is believed to have changed hands for almost £5,000 (7,000 euros). The deal was done in early September and for their money the new owner got a level 70 night elf rogue called Zeuzo. The price was so high because Zeuzo possessed magical items, including the twin Warglaives of Azzinoth, owned by only a handful of Warcraft's nine million active players. The powerful items were gained by the character's original owner completing some of the most challenging parts of the game. Cash call World of Warcraft is an online fantasy wo...
by the Chinese authorities2009-04-13Games are serious business in China. Last year, Chinese players spent almost US$500m on online games. The government has been encouraging the growth of online gaming. It is hosting a two-day games conference in September in Beijing in the hope of attracting more foreign investment. But the phenomenal popularity of online games has fuelled concerns that some people may be losing themselves in the virtual worlds of massive multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG). In one extreme case, a player killed a fellow player who had stolen his virtual sword. The gamer received a suspended dea...
very unconclusive and unscientific2009-04-13hours to raid Uld-25 for gear of the same ilvl, no matter how much more they may prefer the 25-man-raiding environment. This argument is reasonable, and Ghostcrawler appears to agree with it (or at least agree that the death of 25-man raiding would result from gear parity). However, I just don't buy it. I think that as long as the reward rate disparity isn't huge (as it is with current arenas, leading to their unpopularity), people will play what they want - if they like 25-man raiding, they'll do it. I don't think raiders aren't motivated by gear - they clearly are - but I also don't think they're solely motivated by gea...
simulate the raid having Ulduar2009-04-13As you all probably noticed, there was no patch 3.1 today. Evidently they're not doing testing Ulduar yet - three more hard mode tests are scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night. On the North American PTR:Hodir (hard mode): tonight, 7 PM EDT Iron Council (hard mode): tomorrow night, April 1, 7 PM EDT. Daelo specifies that they want Steelbreaker done last. On the European PTR:General Vezax (hard mode): tomorrow night, April 1, 7 PM CET Shirts of Uber will once again be available to simulate the raid having Ulduar gear. Do we conclude that they're more or less done testing normal-mode f...
threatening to drop2009-04-13In case you missed the memo, the short list of changes to the Engineering profession that have been posted for patch 3.1 are all you are going to get come patch day, like it or not. Bornakk confirmed that Blizzard feels that the "perks work out" compared to what other professions offer, and that they "have no changes planned at this time."The relevant forum thread has grown to over 1300 replies and more than 50,000 views, suggesting that while Blizz might be satisfied, much of the Engineering community is not. In fact, many are threatening to drop the profession and take up Jew...
